Collating the ultimate mamatribe (a group of like-minded mothers who just get it) is something that most women will value.

After all, having someone to share with, good or bad, can make all the difference – motherhood or not.

But it’s especially true in motherhood.

And it’s not always easy to seek out the like-minded women who we’re naturally aligned to.

This is where the A Mama’s Mind Mamahood network comes into play.

Every month we aim to introduce you to a wonderful mother who is using social media to improve things for other Mama’s.

And via the whole process, we are sure that they’re super-friendly and real enough to be approachable.

As well as being as cool as f**k!

First up, meet Emese – the mama behind

A talented writer and yoga therapist, among other things, Emese is a great human being and her posts are seriously follow-worthy feel-amazing non-competitive goodies for the soul.

We love Emese, and she’s kindly agreed to let us publish her poem The Paradox of Motherhood here at

We feel her words hit the nail on the head.

We’re sure you will agree.

The Paradox of Morherhood by Emese Malya @5formum

I hold you,

Feed you,

Rock you,

Love you,

But I miss my sleep.

I watch you,

Walk you,

Cuddle you,

Love you,

While struggling about losing me.

I clean you,

Bath you,

Calm you,

Love you,

Sometimes wishing for a 5 mins break.

I carry you,

Swing you,

Hug you,

Love you,

While my postpartum body aches.

I touch you,

Kiss you,

Cure you,

Love you,

Never knowing what the next hour brings.

I love you,

Love you,

Love you,

Love you,

Truly more than anything.
